Let Us Know You’re Coming

We are now asking members, veterans, families and guests who are seriously considering joining us to let us know. Your response will give the organising committee the numbers needed to move forward with detailed planning.

This is more than a general survey. If you genuinely expect that you may attend, please complete the expression of interest for yourself and every person likely to travel with you.

Strong and accurate numbers will help us negotiate the best possible group prices for flights, accommodation, local transport and planned activities. They will also allow us to properly plan accessibility, mobility and support requirements.

A special Sub Branch visit

The proposed trip will give members, veterans, families and guests the opportunity to experience Canberra together and spend meaningful time at the Australian War Memorial.

Our Sub Branch has members with direct connections to significant exhibits, including Bushmaster Debbie and the Black Hawk displayed in the Memorial’s centre atrium. These personal connections will bring a special significance to the visit.

Travel arrangements

We are currently arranging discounted group flights from Brisbane to Canberra. The proposed travel plan is to depart Brisbane on Friday afternoon and return from Canberra on Monday afternoon.

We are also arranging discounted veterans pricing for accommodation in Canberra.

Exact flight times, airline details, baggage allowances, accommodation details and final pricing will be provided once group numbers and booking arrangements are confirmed.

Expressions of interest are welcome from Clayfield Toombul RSL members, veterans, serving ADF members, partners, families and invited guests.

Please submit one form for each household or travelling group and include the total number of people who are genuinely likely to attend.

It is not yet a confirmed booking and no payment is required at this stage.

By submitting the form, you are telling the organising committee that you are seriously considering attending and should be included in the planning numbers.

Once likely numbers are known, we will provide confirmed arrangements, final pricing and instructions for securing your place.
